This work uncovers a viscoelastic framework explaining galactic acceleration relations, indicating new cosmological insights.
This work proposes a covariant viscoelastic spacetime frameworkin which spacetime possesses a finite relaxation time determinedby cosmological expansion. The theory predicts a characteristic acceleration scale a_mem = κ c H0 / (2π) which naturally explains the radial acceleration relation (RAR),flat galaxy rotation curves, and the baryonic Tully–Fisher relation. The model is tested using the SPARC galaxy database.
