Normative analysis examines patriotic education clauses' implications for national spirit and governance.
Article 24(2) of the Constitution establishes patriotic education within the legal framework, providing institutional safeguards for nurturing national spirit and safeguarding ideological security. This paper employs normative analysis to systematically examine the normative structure and value implications of constitutional patriotic education clauses, exploring their systemic connections with the constitutional preamble, provisions on citizens' fundamental rights and obligations, and clauses on spiritual civilization construction. It further proposes legal pathways to improve constitutional implementation mechanisms. The study argues that patriotic education in the new era must optimize the legal safeguard system through innovative practices and enhanced evaluation mechanisms, transforming patriotism into a genuine spiritual driving force for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This legal process not only meets the intrinsic requirements of modernized national governance but also serves as a strategic measure to strengthen the sense of community among the Chinese nation.
