Maternal care facilities play a crucial role in healthcare systems, particularly in resource-limited settings such as Ethiopia. The analysis will include data from randomized field trials conducted across various Ethiopian regions. A mixed-effects model will be used to estimate the effect sizes, accounting for potential heterogeneity among studies. A total of 15 studies were included, with a pooled standardised mean difference (SMD) of 0. 42 in favour of improved clinical outcomes associated with well-managed maternal care facilities. The mixed-effects model revealed significant heterogeneity across the trials, suggesting that standardised protocols and continuous quality improvement are essential for enhancing maternal health outcomes. Implementing consistent training programmes for healthcare workers, standardising facility practices, and promoting community awareness of maternal health can lead to better clinical results. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
