Analysis reveals S0-2's stable orbit around Sagittarius A*, suggesting implications for mass ratio dynamics.
Schodel et al. (Nature 419:694–696, 2002) through 10 years of study have found a star S0-2 in the vicinity of Sagittarius A* in 15.2 years orbit where Sagittarius A* is the centrally located Super massive Black Hole of our Milky Way. This study finds Star S0-2 to be stay put in extra synchronous orbit just beyond inner Clarke’s orbit of Star and Sagittarius A* binary system as it should be in Primary Centric Framework since the Time constant of evolution \:τ\: is some power of inverse mass ratio ‘q’ (secondary mass/primary mass). The mass ratio is infinitesimal hence time constant is infinite. Since the Time constant of evolution \:τ\: is infinite, star S0-2 remains in a 15.2 year orbit for the lifetime of the Milky Way. This is analogous to geo-stationary satellites in 36000Km equatorial orbit above the surface of Earth used for world wide communication.
