Objective: To describe the factors associated with the workload of nursing staff in inpatient services. Methods: A scoping review was conducted that included studies published between 2019 and 2025 in PubMed, LILACS, and Scopus. The research question was structured using the PICOT strategy, and articles were selected using Rayyan software. The information was organized into thematic categories according to the factors associated with workload.
