Organic agriculture practices have gained popularity among smallholder farmers in Tanzania's Tanzanian Highlands due to environmental concerns and market demand for organic products. The study utilised participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and focus group discussions with a sample of 50 smallholder farmers across four villages in the Tanzanian Highlands. Data collection was conducted from March to June . Findings indicate that community support networks significantly influence farmer adoption rates, with over 70% of respondents reporting improved soil health and crop yields since adopting organic practices. This study highlights the importance of fostering strong community ties and continuous education for sustainable organic agriculture in the Tanzanian Highlands. Policy makers should prioritise supporting existing farmer networks and investing in targeted training programmes to ensure long-term sustainability of organic farming initiatives.
