FOX Theory proposes a scalar field framework influencing gravity and fermion structure, suggesting new implications for understanding spacetime.
We present FOX Theory (Flow of eXtremes, Branch A), a pre-geometricscalar field framework in which a dimensionless field φ = Φ/Φ_MAX ∈ [0,1]couples to gravity through the Palatini actionS = (2κ)⁻¹ ∫ φ f(R̃) √−g d⁴x + S_mat.Three central results are established.(i) In the Palatini formulation, the gravitational energy-momentum tensorcontains no ∇∇ terms, so the post-Newtonian parameter γ = 1 exactly.(ii) The equilibrium condition V′(φ_m) = 0 at the matter minimum impliesG_eff = G to linear order in perturbations.(iii) The Palatini torsion integral over the radial profile of a spin-1/2fermion equals 4π, yielding the conditional result φ_in = exp(−4π) ≈ 3.5×10⁻⁶for the field value at the fermion core (under Hypothesis 1 on theoff-equilibrium form of f).We further derive the analytical curvature profile R(φ) = C√|Z(φ)|with Z = 2φV′ − 2V, establish that V(φ) alone cannot provide energeticstabilization of any FOX field configuration (no-go result, Theorem 7.2),and identify four explicit limits of the present version requiringextension to a forthcoming V3.The framework is presented as a formal construction under development:the nuclear scale Φ_MAX(0) is constrained by QCD data rather thanderived from first principles, and the off-equilibrium form of f(R̃)remains undetermined in the present version.
