A review discusses synthesis methods and applications of zinc sulfide nanoparticles, indicating their potential in technology and medicine.
This work discusses the development of zinc sulfide nanoparticles by several methods. The advent of nanotechnology and the fabrication of nanomaterials have transformed the domains of science and technology. ZnS has the most promising nanoscale morphologies among inorganic semiconductors, hence exhibiting many unique characteristics and applications. These applications encompass their utilization in Field Emitting Diodes (FET), electroluminescence, sensors (UV-light sensors, gas sensors, biosensors), and flat panel displays. It also offers a scientific basis for progress in Zinc sulphide nanoparticles. This paper examines the different methodologies for synthesizing ZnS nanoparticles, highlighting the property advantages resulting from dopant inclusion and their applications in the medical field. This review will be quite beneficial, especially for researchers focused on Zinc Sulphide nanomaterial.
