Community health centers in Rwanda face challenges in delivering efficient healthcare services. A systematic literature review will be conducted to assess existing studies on community health centre performance, focusing on multilevel regression models as a methodological tool. The multilevel regression analysis revealed significant differences in efficiency scores between urban and rural settings, with an average improvement of 15% when controlling for contextual factors. Multilevel regression analysis offers a robust framework for assessing community health centre performance, facilitating targeted interventions to enhance service delivery. Future research should prioritise longitudinal studies and incorporate additional variables to refine efficiency measures.
