Being a parent/caregiver introduces a unique set of stressors into an individual's life, as they are now responsible for the well-being of someone other than themselves. To support parents and families, it is important that researchers, practitioners, and policymakers understand how different environmental factors, such as neighborhood crime, uniquely impact them.
