Abstract

PMB and PMI pyrazole derivatives were investigated as corrosion inhibitors for carbon steel in acidic medium using PDP, EIS, surface analysis, DFT and MD simulations. Both compounds showed strong adsorption on the steel surface and significant inhibition efficiency.
