The East African region has experienced significant economic growth in recent decades, driven by policies aimed at fostering regional integration and business development. The review employs a qualitative approach, analysing existing literature and official documents to assess the effectiveness of current policies in supporting entrepreneurship and economic development. A notable finding is the inconsistency in policy implementation across different regions within Morocco, with some areas showing significant improvements in business environment compared to others. Current business policies in Morocco exhibit a patchwork approach, necessitating more targeted interventions to enhance overall business climate and economic performance. Policy makers should prioritise the harmonization of regional policies and facilitate cross-regional collaboration to address disparities and promote sustainable growth.
