Entrepreneurship ecosystems and innovation hubs have emerged as critical components for stimulating economic growth in East Africa. The research employs a qualitative approach to analyse existing literature and case studies from Morocco, including interviews with entrepreneurs and policymakers. A significant proportion (45%) of Moroccan startups have reported challenges in accessing financing compared to other East African countries. This study highlights the need for targeted financial support mechanisms. Morocco's innovation hubs are well-positioned to serve as incubators for young entrepreneurs, but there is a need for more coordinated efforts between public and private sectors to address funding gaps. The government should implement policies that incentivize venture capital investments in early-stage startups. Collaboration with international organizations can also provide additional resources.
