A second‐step lectotype is proposed for the name Dodecadenia paniculata , the basionym of the currently accepted Cinnadenia paniculata . The specimen K000778754 designated as lectotype by R.P.J. de Kok & S. Sengun in 2020 was confirmed to be a later designation and thus ineffective.
