Case studies from cities such as Paris, Copenhagen, Shenzhen, and Tokyo illustrate the diverse strategies employed to align urban development with climate objectives. The study also identifies challenges, including regional disparities and sectoral imbalances, while proposing holistic approaches that integrate social dimensions, technological innovation, and participatory mechanisms to advance sustainable urbanization globally.
