ABSTRACT The ophthalmological literature dealing with diseases of the optic nerve, tracts, and visual cortex for the period September, 1970 to November, 1971 was reviewed. Eighteen papers dealing with topics of interest to optometrists have been abstracted. Principal subjects of this review include: blood supply of the optic nerve and retina, pathological significance of drusen. visual field testing. optic nerve glioma, and objective evaluation of fundus details.
