The MIPLATTA provided a versatile surgical corridor for resecting giant transtentorial epidermoid cysts. It enabled extensive lesion exposure while preserving neurovascular structures and offered favorable surgical outcomes with acceptable morbidity. Further studies are warranted to compare MIPLATTA efficacy with that of conventional approaches.
