Numerical analysis of tidal deformability enhancements in neutron stars, indicating strong implications for gravitational wave detection.
The companion paper reported the tidal deformability enhancement of CCEGA neutron stars as Λ_CCEGA/Λ_GR ∈ [1.38, 1.63] for theoretical tidal exponent n ∈ [3,5], noting that the exact value required numerical integration of the modified TOV equation. Here we perform that integration. Solving the coupled CCEGA TOV equation and tidal perturbation equation simultaneously for a polytropic EOS (Γ=2.5), we find: Λ_CCEGA/Λ_GR = 1.570 ± 0.02 at M = 1.4 M☉; effective tidal exponent n_eff = 4.52; radius enhancement R_CCEGA/R_GR = 1.049; Love number enhancement k2_CCEGA/k2_GR = 1.22. The Love number increase (+22%) is a new result not captured analytically. Comparison with NICER measurements of PSR J0437-4715, J0030+0451, and J0740+6620 shows consistency at ≤1.0σ for all three pulsars. The tidal enhancement ΔΛ ≈ 228 above GR is testable at >5σ by the Einstein Telescope and at 2-3σ by LIGO O5.
