District hospitals in South Africa play a crucial role in healthcare delivery, yet their performance varies significantly across different regions. A quasi-experimental design was employed, utilising data from a sample of 50 district hospitals over two years. Multivariate regression analysis with robust standard errors was applied to assess the impact of various intervention strategies on clinical outcomes. We observed that implementing standardised protocols resulted in an improvement of 12% in patient recovery rates (95% CI: 6-18%). The quasi-experimental design proved effective in quantifying the impact of interventions, providing actionable insights for district hospital managers. District hospitals should adopt consistent clinical protocols and prioritise staff training to improve service quality and patient outcomes. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
