This article examines the evolution of multimedia education and distance learning, indicating a shift towards hybrid models.
The article examines the evolution of distance learning and multimedia education, with a focus on changes accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Although such technologies were predicted to become widespread earlier, their adoption was slower than expected. The pandemic, however, demonstrated the effectiveness and potential of virtual education. The author argues that distance learning will continue to grow rather than be replaced by traditional methods. Increasing demand for flexible, accessible, and lifelong learning supports the expansion of multimedia education. Ultimately, the future of education is presented as a hybrid model that integrates both traditional and digital approaches.
