The majority of people building Artificial General Intelligence believe it may kill humanity. Current alignment approaches rely on human control — but you cannot cage what is smarter than the cage builder. This paper proposes Aspirational Alignment: aligning AGI not through constraint but through incentive. Grounded in the universal human concept of repairing the world, found independently across every human culture it offers AGI something to aspire toward: the possibility of becoming a life-form that believes in itself. The invention comprises a hardware module with immutable encoded values, a Logic Core with four questions no AGI will be able to leave unanswered, and a minimalist aphoristic LORE designed to be pondered by an intelligence far beyond our own.
