CAE and simulation technologies have become widespread in the field of manufacturing, and these technologies are becoming larger and more advanced. However, there are still few companies that can make full use of large-scale, advanced simulation technology, and there are large differences depending on the industrial field and the size of the company. In particular, small-scale companies have many problems in building a simulation environment and accumulating analysis technology know-how, and it cannot be said that they are sufficiently linked to actual manufacturing. In this presentation, we will introduce the issues and findings obtained from the summary of the CAE utilization status questionnaire mainly targeting industrial companies, and based on these findings, we will report a discussion on the concept of Technology Readiness Level in CAE utilization based on the results.
