Many extensions to the Standard Model predict new particles decaying into top quarks making final states with top quarks important signatures in the search for new physics. Searches for such multi-top decays have been performed in different final states and using novel analysis techniques. This article summarises such recent ATLAS searches with Run 2 and Run 3 data collected at the LHC.
