This document is an inventory and evaluation report that documents the results of the second phase of a three-phase effort by the Tri-Services Cultural Resource Research Center (TSCRRC) at the United States Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratories (USACERL) in Champaign, Illinois. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the numerous and varied Cold War properties located at Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB), California to assist the installation in its efforts to comply with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended (NHPA). Phase One of this project evaluated the Space Launch Complexes (SLCs) and related facilities at VAFB. This Phase Two report examines Minuteman ICBM, MX Peacekeeper ICBM and space tracking facilities. Phase Three will examine the Atlas, Titan, Bomarc, Blue Scout Junior launch complexes and the former Coast Guard Lifeboat Reserve Station on South VAFB.
