This article presents the first comprehensive study of the Kweiresh village, located west of Nebuchadnezzar's palaces in Babylon. It offers a detailed examination of the German expedition’s houses used during the 1899–1917 excavations, exploring their construction, functions, and eventual reuse. The paper also traces the dismantling of the village and the later construction of a modern palace on the same site.
