By integrating technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision and predictive analytics, AI enables real estate professionals to transition from intuition-based strategies to data-driven, proactive decision making. The interdisciplinary nature of AI — blending data science, finance, urban planning, engineering and sustainability — enhances CRE performance by combining real estate expertise with advanced analytics and real-time insights. Applications discussed include automated valuation models (AVMs), AI-powered due diligence tools, predictive risk systems and climate risk assessments. The paper also explores future developments involving deep learning, Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain and edge computing, illustrating how these converging technologies will further reshape the CRE landscape.
