A zero-parameter cosmological framework achieves better results in modeling baryon acoustic oscillations than ΛCDM, suggesting a new approach.
A cosmological framework derived from a single axiom — that mass, gravity, spacetime, and motion are identical — is compared against DESI Data Release 2 baryon acoustic oscillation measurements. The framework predicts a sound horizon r_s = 153.4 Mpc and Hubble constant H₀ = 66.6 km/s/Mpc, both from the axiom with zero parameters fitted to BAO data. Against thirteen DESI DR2 data points across seven redshift bins, the framework achieves χ² = 12.7 versus ΛCDM's χ² = 38.9 — an improvement of Δχ² = −26.2. CMB consistency is demonstrated. The full framework, which additionally derives coupling constants, particle masses, and Einstein's field equations from the same axiom, is presented in a companion paper (Worley 2026).
