Introduction: Predatory conferences/journals threaten academic integrity by exploiting researchers, especially early-career and those from LMICs. Methods: Development and description of AcademicAlerts.org — a community-driven platform where submitted academic events undergo peer review by the academic community before listing. Results: The platform curates and verifies events across disciplines, providing a vetted resource to reduce predatory solicitations and support researcher decision-making. Conclusions: AcademicAlerts.org offers a scalable, community-based approach to protect researchers from predatory events and strengthen research integrity.
