Inequitable access to education results in educational exclusion, even when accessible and financial assistance is offered to disadvantaged individuals. Status of women has changed a lot but women face a lot of social exclusion in getting education. The objective of the paper is to investigate the viewpoint of students concerning the social exclusion of women within the educational sector. The primary data was gathered from 50 female students through a structured questionnaire aimed at assessing their demographic profile and opinions regarding the social exclusion of women in educational sector. Approximately 68 percent are pursuing undergraduate degrees and 32 percent are engaged in postgraduate studies. Based on their area of residence, around 64 percent of the students reside in urban areas, while 36 percent come from rural regions. The study found that an unsafe school environment, involvement in household duties, lack of essential facilities, low parental income, and unrestricted access to technology, along with gender norms and stereotypes, as well as inadequate family support and patriarchal societal norms, represent the various perspectives of students concerning social exclusion faced by women in the educational sector.
