This article compares raman spectroscopy outcomes of carbon allotropes, indicating their unique properties.
In this article, we describe the Raman spectroscopy of the fullerenes C60 and C70, and also include a comparison with the several allotropes of carbon, namely, diamond, graphite and carbon nanotubes. These experiments illustrate principles of Raman spectroscopy that are introduced in Physical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis in a laboratory setting, while also providing ample avenues to connect both with current and recent literature.
