Abstract

The genitalia structure in Ranissus Fieber and Parorgerius Melichar (Homoptera, Auchenorrhyncha) is discussed, and male genitalia of most species of these genera are illustrated for the first time. The limits and taxonomic structure of the genus Ranissus are revised; the subgenus Schizorgerius Kusnetsov is excluded from it and promoted to genus.
