Investigations demonstrate vibratory lifting influences on granular transport efficiency, suggesting optimization pathways.
This study investigates the process of vibratory lifting of granular materials through the channel of a two-mass tubular vibratory elevator. Using the vibratory transport of construction sand as an example, we examine the influence of the oscillation frequency and amplitude of the elevator’s conveying elements, the wall inclination angle of the vibratory elevator, and the material fill density of the device channel on the maximum lift height and the velocity of vibrotransportation process of the material. The results demonstrate that the forced vibration frequency should be detuned from the resonant frequency when selecting the operating modes of the device. The most effective control of the device operation is achieved by adjusting the oscillation amplitude of the conveying elements and the inclination angle of the vibratory elevator relative to the horizontal. Recommendations for improving the model of the bulk medium transport process within the device are provided, and directions for future research are outlined.
