The article reports on the rising challenge of wound care in community nursing, suggesting implications for holistic care delivery.
Community nurses’ workload is rising every year, as the number of people with wounds continues to increase. The number of qualified district nurses available to deliver increasingly complex wound care to people with multimorbidities is falling.
