Abstract

ABSTRACT We report a draft genome sequence of Enterococcus faecalis BFS29, isolated from a diseased silver carp in Bangladesh. The 2.89 Mb genome assembled into 69 contigs with a GC content of 37.4%, encodes 2,789 predicted coding sequences, and contains virulence, antimicrobial resistance, and bacteriocin-associated genes.
