The article has addressed the level of digitization in Iraq and Arab countries and compares them with each other on the one hand, and with developed countries on the other. It has pointed to the primary goal of digitization, which is to achieve progress in the country's level, as indicated by sustainable competitiveness. It showed that there is a strong correlation between the two variables and a clear correlation between the advanced level of the country in sustainable competitiveness and the achievement of a high level of digitization. Quantitative analyses showed that Iraq needs to give this issue great importance in order to achieve progress in digitization requirements. when it achieves a high level of digitization.
