This article focuses on the modeling of virtual simulation system and the design of multi-dimensional interactive algorithm for immersive cultural experience. By analyzing the requirements of immersive cultural experience, covering the characteristics of cultural scenes and the expectation of user interaction, we adopt the methods of building an experimental platform and conducting experiments for different age groups. The architecture of virtual simulation system is designed, including data layer, model layer and interaction layer, and the scene and role modeling method and multi-dimensional interaction algorithm are proposed. Experiments show that the young group (18-30 years old) has more advantages in the task completion time. For example, the average scene of ancient academy is about 2.3 minutes, and the accuracy of gesture interaction is 86%. The accuracy of voice interaction in all age groups is high, and the young group is 91%. The average score of subjective immersion is 7.5, and the young group is slightly higher than 7.95. The research proves that the designed system modeling and algorithm have a positive effect on improving the immersive cultural experience.
