On 21 November 2025, Bay Area Geophysical Society (BAGS) Vice President Michael Wilt convened an online panel on the application of geophysical technology to groundwater management. The panel was presented to a live audience. Wilt, an assistant editor for The Leading Edge, also served as the coordinator for this issue’s special section on the same topic. Wilt was joined by panel co-convenor Kris MacLennan, a former BAGS president.
