Novel technique corrects thigh skin laxity and infragluteal fold in aesthetic surgeries, suggesting improved outcomes.
Objectives: Many techniques have been described in the literature to surgically correct and cosmetically enhance the gluteal area, either for correcting deformities or for gluteal aesthetics. This is also true when discussing thigh laxity. These techniques treat these areas as separate rather than adjacent anatomical areas. We introduce a new technique to correct medial thigh skin laxity up to the upper two-thirds of the thigh, with correction of inferior buttock ptosis and recreation of the infragluteal fold using a transverse excision without the need for a vertical thigh excision.
