Single-center analysis shows high technical success and primary patency in FEVAR using iCover stents, indicating promising results.
Type of Research: Single-center retrospective analysis of prospectively collected registry data. Key Findings:Early-and mid-term outcomes support the use of the iCover stent as bridging stent graft during fenestrated endovascular aneurysm repair (FEVAR).Technical success was achieved in 97.6 % of 141 fenestrations.During follow-up, estimated freedom from target vessel instability was 98.5 % with a primary patency rate of 100 %. Take Home Message:The iCover stent is a relatively new covered stent that demonstrates promising early-and mid-term results for the indication as bridging stent graft in FEVAR with performance comparable to other currently used bridging stent grafts. Table of contents summaryIn this single-center analysis of fenestrated endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (FEVAR), the use of the iCover stent as bridging stent graft demonstrated high technical success, excellent primary patency and favorable mid-term target vessel stability. This supports its safety and effectiveness as a bridging stent option in FEVAR.
