Research article demonstrates a liquid diode valve enabling programmable liquid flow in microfluidics, suggesting scalable applications.
Bioinspired Liquid Diode Valves In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202527593), Pengfei Zhang and co-workers present a bioinspired liquid diode valve (LDV), which enables programmable control of diverse liquid flows in open-channel microfluidics. Through the integration of LDV arrays into microfluidic devices, controllable chemical reactions, point-of-care testing, and microfluidic electronic systems have been demonstrated. LDVs will advance the construction of scalable and programmable open-channel microfluidic systems.
