Recent discovery of the ancient kiln sites in Cambodia enabled us to start detailed studies on Khmer ceramics.So far, the excavation of Tani kiln site and the Sar Sei kiln site have been carried out and numerous artifacts shows distinguished and unique skills of ancient Khmer potters.The Tani Kiln site is one of the kilns, which are located in the eastern part of Angkor area.The Tani kiln site is determined to consist of five kiln groups, identified as Area A through E.
