Food waste has grown to be a major worldwide problem, causing food insecurity, environmental damage, and financial loss. The concept and implementation of a web-based food waste reduction system utilizing the Django Python framework is presented in this paper. The app seeks to link food givers, such eateries and households, with recipients, like non-governmental organizations and those in need. Users can register, post food details, and effectively handle donations on the system's organized platform. To expedite the donation procedure, the suggested system includes user authentication, food listing, request processing, and real-time updates. The platform guarantees accessibility and transparency by utilizing database management and web technologies. The findings show that by facilitating the prompt transfer of excess food, the system successfully lowers food waste. This approach demonstrates how web-based applications may be used to solve practical sustainability issues.
