This dissertation examines heat transfer and flow dynamics in nanofluid with varying nanoparticle shapes, suggesting implications for engineering applications.
A primary goal of this dissertation is to examine the MHD water base nanofluid flow and heat transfer with the addition of various nanoparticles shapes in the existence of thermal radiation. We present a mathematical model for a vertical cone. The geometry shape of nanoparticles is considered as column, sphere and lamina. The significant properties of different shape of nanoparticles are examined with particular interest. With the help of similarity transformation technique, the partial differential equations (PDEs) are reformulated into non-linear ordinary differential equations (ODEs). Analytical results are evaluated by Homotopy analysis method (HAM). An analysis of flow distributions is depicted in graphical form of velocity of nanofluid, temperature of nanofluid, skin friction and Nusselt number profiles. The physical impacts of pertinent parameters on nanofluid flow and heat transfer are shown graphically and debated concisely. A fixed numerical value of Prandtl number 6.2 is used in this discussion. A comparison with previously published numerical results under specific cases reveals an impressive conformity. The results show that the performance of lamina shape nanoparticles in MoS 2 -water is higher as compare to column and sphere shape nanoparticles.
