First person – Ajay Murakonda

First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Ajay Murakonda is first author on ‘ Endosomal actin attenuation and fission are regulated by MICAL2’, published in JCS. Ajay is a PhD student in the lab of Steve Caplan at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, USA investigating the role of the actin cytoskeleton in endocytic trafficking.
