Research explores quality standards in primary education graduates, indicating effectiveness in teacher preparation.
The cultivation of undergraduate graduates in primary education is a key factor in the high-quality development of the teaching staff in primary and secondary schools. Under the concept of "teaching-learning-assessment" consistency, it is necessary to explore to what extent the quality standards of undergraduate graduates in primary education should be met to satisfy the basic requirements of being a teacher. Through a grounded theory analysis of semi-structured interviews with in-service primary school teachers, this study found that the quality standards for undergraduate graduates in primary education consist of four dimensions: comprehensive professional knowledge that is both "professionalized" and "artistic", "self-motivated and general" compound professional abilities, "visible and hidden combined - dynamic feedback" emotional education, and "professional and developmental" multi-dimensional professional awareness.
