EcoVision is a web-based smart waste classification system aimed at promoting effective waste segregation and environmental awareness. It uses a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to classify waste images into recyclable and non-recyclable types, including plastic, paper, glass, and organic materials. Developed with the MERN stack and integrated with a Roboflow-trained model, the system allows users to upload images and get instant classification results. To encourage engagement, a reward mechanism awards points to registered users based on their interactions. Experiments show that EcoVision provides accurate classification and improves public awareness, offering an efficient and scalable solution for intelligent waste management and sustainable practices.
