Why the study?
Are high blood pressure variability (BP-CV) or low time in therapeutic range (TTR) associated with future cardiovascular events in treated hypertensive patients?
Are high blood pressure variability (BP-CV) or low time in therapeutic range (TTR) associated with future cardiovascular events in treated hypertensive patients?
Time in therapeutic range (TTR) may be a stronger predictor of future cardiovascular events than blood pressure variability (BP-CV) in treated hypertensive patients.
High BP-CV or low TTR was associated with future cardiovascular events in a cohort of treated hypertensive patients. As a determinant, the extent of TTR value appears greater than BP-CV when these measures are considered in the same multivariable model.
