This paper proposes that the collapse of global fertility rates currently underway is not primarily a sociological phenomenon but the visible surface of a deeper, irreversible physical process: the degradation of biological reproductive capacity through civilizational self-generated mechanisms. We argue that voluntary fertility suppression (consciousness acting upon matter) and involuntary biological infertility (matter resisting consciousness) share the same civilizational driver, form a mutually accelerating double helix, and converge upon an irreversible threshold beyond which the feedback loop from matter back to consciousness is effectively severed. Drawing on the Law of Political Personality Cycles (PPCL), Neanderthal extinction modeling, global sperm count meta-analyses, endocrine-disrupting chemical (EDC) research, and transgenerational epigenetic evidence, we propose the concept of Endogenous Species Termination — a mode of extinction requiring no external catastrophe, operating below the threshold of civilizational awareness, and internally consistent with the Meta-Originary Ontological (MOO) framework in which consciousness is the primary ontological given and matter is the crystallized residue of historical consciousness in motion. The threshold between reversible and irreversible is identified as the point at which current conscious energy can no longer overcome the inertia of historically crystallized material constraints.
