Some children exhibit highly difficult and challenging behaviors that are not typical for their developmental age. In India, the prevalence of mental health problems among school-going children ranges from 6.33% to 43.1%. The CBCL is one of the questionnaires most frequently used to assess behavior problems in various cultures. Recurrent tonsillitis is a common upper respiratory tract condition marked by repeated episodes of inflammation and infection of the palatine tonsils. A 7-year-old girl with behavioral disorder (CBCL score >65) with recurrent tonsillitis was successfully treated with homoeopathic medicine Lycopodium . The posttreatment CBCL score showed <65. Thus, the importance of homoeopathic medicines for the treatment of recurrent tonsillitis with behavioral disorder in children is demonstrated.
