This framework reveals spatio-temporal locality in systems of coupled oscillators, suggesting new pathways for understanding physical phenomena.
We propose a formal framework in which space, time, energy and mass emerge as readings of anunderlying substrate R, purely recursive and pre-geometric. R is carried by a set of coupled complexoscillators. The transformation T that produces state n+1 from state n is a quasi-identity whose statesof R are strictly Markovian: the entirety of R's history is crystallised in its current state — amplitudes, phases, coupling weights, graph structure — with no external memory. A projection operator Piextracts from R the structures sufficiently stable to be readable as spatio-temporal (ST) reality. Weintroduce two fundamental properties absent from existing approaches: the relational capacity peroscillator as an irreversible quantity carrying the memory of pressure history, and the maintenance costintrinsic to T as a source of primordial instability without exogenous noise. We show that geometriclocality emerges naturally from the spectrum of the Laplacian of the coupling graph, without imposedtopology. Numerical simulations illustrate the spontaneous formation of coherent structures and thereconnection dynamics.
